Miami Swim Week

I survived my first swim week in my blogger/creative branding ambassador capacity! Not going to lie, when I was first informed that IMG pulled out of swim week, I questioned if swim week would even happen :/

My first time attending any fashion week in my blogger role in my own city. I was so excited, I couldn’t even sleep thinking about it 🙂 I had all these romantic ideas in my mind of what it would be like. The designers, the models, the production coming together, the swimsuits, the hair, the makeup 🙆🏼

The 305 rose to the occasion and swim week happened and it was beyond AWESOME. IMG, you missed out. Swim week happened at the same time as one of our hotel grand openings, so I couldn’t attend all the events I wanted to attend. Here are some hi-lights from some of the presentations I had the honor of attending.

Zannikini is a boutique swimwear line based out of Lighthouse Point, Florida. They design exclusive bikinis for the sophisticated yet adventurous female. Their bikinis are inspired by a lifestyle of travel, boating, and exploring the ocean. I’m currently coveting their cheeky reversible bottoms, crochet bikini & their “flower bomb” bikini.

Eido Swimwear-

Eido Swimwear is based out of Miami and by creative director Tayo Ishola.

The collection features a variety of options from bikinis to one piece suits available in both simple, structured pieces and complex patterns. Each chic swimsuit features prints conceived and created by Tayo herself. I found the pieces flattering and unique. Obsessed with the “Puzzler Girl” bikini.

3 lily pads-

So much I am loving about Fiorella Di Lorenzo’s handbag collection. She had me at colors, prints & accessories. Honestly, I’ve seen no other handbags like hers. These handbags make a statement, they are fun & feminine. Incredibly well made and well structured. Fabulous quality. Stylish, chic, unique & affordable. Exquisitely timeless pieces that will last throughout the seasons.
