Getting Glam with RTR

For those that are not familiar,  Rent the Runway is an online service that provides designer dress and accessory rentals. I’ve used RTR countless times, and I am a HUGE fan. My dresses always arrive ready to wear. And even better, they always fit like a glove, which I owe to the helpful and honest reviews- but also knowing my body and which designers and dress styles tend to flatter my shape. This stunning black gown by Jill Jill Stuart had me at timeless elegance. It was classy and sophisticated, yet modern. This dress runs true to size. I recommend going one size up for backup. I wore the 2R. It is black crepe, sleeveless, v-neckline, criss cross back, fitted, with a hidden back zipper.

BUST: Works best for A to C cup sizes. It is fitted at bust. I’m a B cup.
WAIST: Fitted – dress fitted at natural waist
HIPS: Fitted – curvier women should consider sizing up for full hips
LENGTH: Two are lengths available. Regular measures 58” from shoulder to hem (recommended for heights 5’2”-5’6”), Long measures 61” from shoulder to hem (recommended for heights 5’7”-5’11”). I am 5’5 and I wore the 2R

UNDERGARMENTS: Should be worn without a bra. I did wear Spanx, which are the real MVP in all this!
FABRIC: Fabric has some stretch. I always, ALWAYS get dresses with fabric with some stretch because I know they flatter and fit my body type better. The designers that I find to be most flattering on me are Nicole Miller, Jill Stuart, and ALC.
GREAT FOR: Athletic, Pear, Petite, Tall, Straight & Narrow body types

I styled it with a Kate Spade NY fabulously, oversized necklace also from RTR.
