Let’s start with luggage. I opt for a hard case because it is simply more durable and it will one hundred percent do a better job of protecting what is inside. My husband and I just splurged on the Tumi suitcase I linked below. He often uses it as a carry-on and travels a lot more than I do. Bags that are checked in, almost always are scuffed up and banged up. It is something we can’t control.
I always pack a pair of high-waist skinny jeans. I currently like the Old Navy jeans I linked below. They have a lot of stretch and they won’t lose their shape. Also, they hold everything in and you can dress them down with a great pair of flats or dress them up with chic heels.
In-flight essentials are Beats by Dre (linked below) and I’m currently loving the Origins GinZing energy-boosting moisturizer (linked below). This moisturizer revs up radiance, jump-starts hydration levels, and the best part is it’s oil-free. Being on a plane is dehydrating for your skin, so this serves like a strong shot of espresso for tired skin. Always, always, always place all shoes on their sides, so that the bottom of the shoes don’t touch any of your clothes. I always bring my Neutrogena wipes (linked below) to remove makeup. No other wipes does it like these bad boys. I always bring my Aura Cacia Pillow Potion (linked below). I love the fresh smell and I wake up refreshed and ready to take on my day.
One of my best tips for packing toiletries is to get rid of the adorable makeup bags and opt for packing things in plastic storage size ziploc bags. If something spills or leaks, the cleanup is easy and the mess is contained in the Ziploc bag.
